Ok, so my friend posed this ? today and now I'm curious
Usually they film the christmas parade at magic kingdom on the sat after thanksgiving. she said last year someone told her they filmed parades in all the parks during that week. ??? does anyone have more details on that? Will they be doing it again?
I watch the parade on TV every year and don't recall scenes from other parks on tv this year.

They do film it ahead of time, but I believe it's done over several tapings, and not scheduled as a set day. I want to say it's done over the course of a week, not a day.

They film it all on the first Saturday in December, with that Sunday as a make up day.

They film the majority of it on the first Saturday in December and its filmed at magic kingdom and Disneyland, not all the parks.
