Check out the ingredients that are in the Swine Flue vaccine.  Makes you
just want to run out and get a dose, doesn't it?

I think I'll just stick to my fresh vegetable juice and keep eating lots of
ginger and garlic, thank you!  Pass on the word to others you care about.
Those they call most vulnerable would be most affected by these ingredients.

===============

Now that the swine flu scare is in full swing, there's a lot we can
do to prevent it. These tips came to me compliments of Dr.Vinay Goya
(Internist and Thyroid specialist). I've adapted them with several
of my comments. I thought they included some very practical things you
could do every day to stay healthy.

The portals of entry are the nostrils and mouth/throat. In a global
epidemic of this nature, it's almost impossible to avoid coming into
contact with H1N1 in spite of all precautions. Therefore, while you
are still healthy and not showing any symptoms of H1N1 infection,

in order to prevent proliferation, aggravation of symptoms and
development of secondary infections, you can take some very simple
steps, some of which are not highlighted in most official
communications.

1. Wash your hands frequently.

2. Keep your hands off your face. Resist all temptations to touch any
part of the face (unless you first wash your hands with hot, soapy
water.

3. Gargle twice a day with warm salt water (use Listerine if you
don't trust salt). H1N1 takes 2-3 days after initial infection in the
throat and/or nasal cavity to proliferate and show characteristic
symptoms. Simple gargling prevents proliferation. Don't underestimate
this simple, inexpensive, and powerful preventative method.

4. Clean your nostrils at least once every day with warm salt water.
A Neti Pot works best. Also, blowing the nose hard once a day and
swabbing both nostrils with cotton buds dipped in warm salt water is
very effective in bringing down the viral population.

5. Boost your natural immunity with foods that are rich in Vitamin C
(dark greens and lemons and limes with the white pithy part). If you
supplement with vitamin C make sure that it also has bioflavonoids;
they work synergistically. Also take zinc to boost absorption. (Ginger
root is the best source of zinc.)

6. Drink as much warm liquids (green tea, herbal tea, hot water and
lemon) as you can. Drinking warm liquids has a similar effect as
gargling, but in the reverse direction.

They wash off proliferating viruses from the throat into the stomach
where the digestive acids make sure they cannot survive.

Warning about H1N1 Vaccine

(NaturalNews) An FDA advisory panel has recommended stronger warnings
on two influenza drugs after reviewing evidence linking them to
neurological and psychiatric problems that have led to deaths in some
cases.

The current warning on Roche Laboratories' Tamiflu (generic name
oseltamivir) urges close monitoring of flu patients, particularly
children, for "increased risk of self injury and confusion shortly
after taking Tamiflu." The panel recommended that this warning be
strengthened to say "in some cases, these behaviors resulted in
serious injuries, including death, in adult and pediatric patients."

The label of Glaxo SmithKline's Relenza (generic name zanamivir), the
panel said, should be strengthened to mention "reports of
hallucinations, delirium and abnormal behavior."

There have been no reported deaths from Tamiflu in the United States,
but in Japan, where the drug is much more widely used, at least 14
deaths have been reported. Five children under the age of 17 died
after "falling from windows or balconies or running into traffic,"
according to the FDA. According to Roche, two people under the age of
21 died from a brain infection, and seven deaths from neuropsychiatric
symptoms have also been attributed to use of the drug by adults.

  • Thanks for posting this, it is well written and spot on, except for the part about the deaths in Japan.  The Tamiflu used there is different then the one used in the United States.

  • We did the same thing.  Wash all the time but DH brought the swine flu home.  As a healthy adult he ended up with pnemonia!  My kids didn't get sick during DH's respiratory isolation.  But I've decided to let my 3yo get the flumist.  If I can spare her from getting as sick as her daddy was, we'll try.  She gets very little toxins over all because of our life style, a little inoculation won't hurt her - or hasn't yet.

  • Yep, and not only are they toxic but studies show they don't even work in the catagories that they are targeting. CRAZY!

Many Studies show the Flu vaccine is NOT EFFECTIVE in:

CHILDREN: “...no evidence that injecting children
6-24 months of age with a flu shot was any more
    effective than placebo.”
    Reference: “Vaccines for
preventing influenza in healthy children.”, The
Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. 2 (2008).

ASTHMA: “The inactivated flu vaccine does not
    prevent influenza-related hospitalizations in children,
especially the ones with asthma… Children who get
the flu vaccine are three times more at risk for
hospitalization than children who do not get the
    vaccine.”
    Reference: The American Thoracic Society’s
    105th International Conference, May 15-20, 2009, San
    Diego.

children with asthma (2): A study 800 children with asthma, half were vaccinated and the other half did not receive the influenza vaccine. The two groups were compared with respect to clinic visits, emergency department (ED) visits, and hospitalizations for asthma. CONCLUSION: This study failed to provide evidence that the influenza vaccine prevents pediatric asthma exacerbations. Reference: "Effectiveness of influenza vaccine for the prevention of asthma exacerbations." Christly, C. et al. Arch Dis Child. 2004 Aug;89(8):734-5.

HEALTHY ADULTS: “Vaccination of healthy adults
only reduced risk of influenza by 6%...”
    Reference:
Vaccines for preventing influenza in healthy adults. The
Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. 1(2006).

THE ELDERLY: Flu shots were non-significant for
preventing the flu in elderly living in nursing homes. For
elderly living in the community, vaccines were not
(significantly) effective against influenza, ILI or
    pneumonia…”

influenza in the elderly.” The Cochrane Database of
    Systematic Reviews
