Moving to the area

Hello. My name is Katie and my husband just accepted a job offer at Le Moyne. We will be moving to the area in a few months and I was hoping to meet a few other moms in the area. I currently live in Southern Illinois but am originally from Wisconsin.

I have 3 great children. My boys just turned 3 and my daughter is 13 months. We are part of a mpmmy and me play group here and it has been the biggest blessing for me. I am hoping to find something similar in Syracuse. Thanks for your time and I hope to get to know a few of you lovely ladies so I won't be a complete stranger when I move this fall. My name is Misty and I moved here a few months ago from Buffalo. Do you know what area you will be living in? I live in Clay, and am a SAHM to a 3 year old.  I do lots of playdates, and story times at the bookstore. When do you move?

My husband is starting teaching at LeMoyne in August. We are not sure yet where we will be living but were looking around DeWitt, Auburn, Baldwinsville,etc. Near but not in Syracuse. He will be going in August and then finding us a place with his first pay check. So the kids and I will arrive sometime in September.

Things worked differently than expected. We are all getting to go together now because we found a place online. We will be living in West Monroe and are moving the weekend of August 15.
