I had my miscarriage this month after an EP a little over a year ago... if you've read my post. I plan on getting an HSG in the coming months to see what my tubes look like. I suspect, but don't have concrete evidence, that this pregnancy was also in the tube. I had pain at the top of the uterus where the tube connects....same place as last time.
Anyway. I looked up treatment for scarring in the fallopian tubes and found a treatment called cannulation. Have you heard of it or have it done? I would love to know what your experience is!
From what I've read it's an outpatient procedure where a HSG is preformed. A cathether is inserted into the fallopian tubes and removes scar tissue. It is reported to be highly effective when scarring is at the proximal end (closest to uterus) of the tube. This is because the higher the scarring is, the more chances there is ovulatory dysfunction etc.
I am highly optimistic because my tubal reversal incision is at the proximal site and this is where my confirmed EP was and where I suspect my last pregnancy was.
Any info on costs, any expereince?
I have not heard of it im sorry. It sounds interesting and i wish you luck if you do decide to do it. I just wanted to mention the MAM (maya abdominal massage) massage. Have you heard of it? Its a more natural way of clearing our reproductive organs of toxins and getting things to flow better, even correct a displaced uterus. I did it after over a year of ttc with one tube and i noticed huge change with my period and got pregnant after 1 month of doing it. I had another ectopic though, but i found out my tubes were malformed at that point. Google it..i think the site is http://www.arvigomassage.com/. You can find a practitioner in your area who is also certified to self teach you how to do it. I only went once and then did it myself at home along with some other recommendations from the lady.
Again this is if you are into natural ways and doesnt hurt to try. You also need to be very consistent. They recommend you dedicate at least 3 months for any changes or results you may see in your body, but I responded very well very quickly. If I can help in answering any questions let me know.
