Hello ladies,
I had a cornual ectopic pregnancy in April '09. This is supposedly a very rare form of ectopic and as a result my right tube has been blocked. I have to mention here that I have had two other miscarraiges prior to this-one in 2006 and the other in 2007. I ran a battery of tests after the second miscarraige and they revealed nothing untoward. Recently I went through a hysterescopy and the doc could not determine a definitive cause for the miscarraiges-no polyps, no fibroids etc.He did mention however that my left tube was perfectly healthy and I could start trying again. I am now seeing a fertility specialist again.
Its so hard going through this three times.....I was wondering if anyone in this group has success stories to share-any of you ladies ou there or any friends or relatives you know of who have gone through ectopics/recurrent miscarraiges and gone on to conceive and have successful pregnancies. It will give me tremendous hope and strength.
Thanks everyone in advance!
Hi i know its hard to be positive and patient after an ectopic. I think if you were told that your one tube is perfectly healthy thats a great chance!. You can read thru the locked post on this group for success stories, many women go on to have normal pregnancies after ectopic. I did although thru ivf, but thats because my tubes were bad and had to be removed. You still have a good one, dont lose hope and stay strong. Take it one day at a time. I know its easier said than done and sometimes we get desperate and obsess but in time things will clear up. Talk to specialists, track your cycles and enjoy all the lovemaking with your hubby. :)

Hey hun, I first wanted to say I am so sorry for your losses, Just to hopefully give you some hope, I had an ectopic pregnancy and lost my right tube completely after it ruptured, 3 months after the surgery I conceived again with one try and one tube, unfortunately the baby did not grow appropriately and at 9 weeks the baby was pronounced enviable, and I had to have D&C it was devastating beyond words, but Just 5 months after that loss, I conceived again, I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and everything so far seems perfect, I have seen the babies heartbeat already, and it growing on time, so my story isn't done yet, I am fully aware that anything can still happen, but I am trying to stay positive, that I will get to post my full sucess story in here in about 7 months, GL hun, it can happen still, stay strong.

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone known that I am in my third trimester of pregnancy!! They finally found out the cause of my miscarraiges and ectopic pregnancy to be PCOS. I started taking Metformin everyday and found a very caring fertility specialist and he took great care of me. However I was unable to concieve on my own this time, and did not want to wait much longer so decided to give IVF a shot. Touch wood, I got pregnant on the first try! If by any chance anyone in Cincinnati, OH is reading this and wants to see a fertility specialist, I would definetely recommend Dr Mazen Abdallah and the Bethesda Center for Reproductive Health and Fertility very highly. They are the most caring and compassionate medical team I have met!
