Though I may be new to this group, I am not new to having Irish Twins. I had my first daughter February 2, 2006 and my second daughter December 20, 2006. Having Irish Twins is a royal pain in the butt.
Right now, all they do is FIGHT!! My youngest will be two in a little over 3 months, and my oldest will be three in a little over 5 months. They are driving me insane with their fighting, screaming, hitting, stomping, everything.
If anyone has some great advice on how to handle all this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I dont really have any advice because I am in same boat! I have 2 and 3 year old (11 months apart) who are at each others throats constantly. There is a lot of jealousy. I think that maybe they need some time apart sometimes. But I dont know what to do most of the time. I could use some advice myself.
I wish I had some advice...mine are 22 months and 12 months. They fight constantly....pulling hair, pushing, hitting. Sigh. Then my 5 year old gets into it and really mixes things up. Of course, they share, too....sippy cups, pacifiers, and every freakign germ out there.
(((hugs)))

My boys very rarely fight. I have always encouraged "brother love" being kind to each other and now they look out for their brother. However fighting is a natural and normal response to alot of things. My boys do fight with other kids just not each other.lol
We use the 1 2 3 Magic method with our boys. Mine are 28 1/2 and 20 months. The 1 2 3 Magic is supposed to be used for children 2 and over but my 20 month old is catching on already. It has really cut down on the tantrums and fights. Mine don't fight that often, they love each other so much, but when they do I usually send one or both to the naughty chair. If I didn't see who started it they both get sent.
