My daughter used to think I was racist. Don't ask me why.She said I had something against Mexicans because she was dating one and I didn't like the way he dressed, looked, spoke, or the music he listened to (hip-hop and rap mostly) I told her exactly this:

I could never be racist. My dad was black, my boyfriend's white, and your father was Panamanian/white. I love all races! You start dating a mexican man that listens to metal, and I'll welcome him with open arms!

That was when she called me a music natzi.

So, my question to the group is this: are YOU a music natzi? Do you want your children to be into the same music you are? Would your dream son-in-law be someone more like you?

BTW: My daughter is currently with a very sweet guy who's the bassist in his father's mexican band. I always wanted my girl to date a musician!

I do NOT !! want my daughter to be into rap or dress like a wigger or a prep ...If she does ...sigh Ill always love her and always be her mama but damn that would suck ! lol .... shudder ...the thought of her ever dateing a yo boy /girl...as for color pssshhh IDK ! Id love if he or she spoke English fluently but as long as hes or shes good to my girl It will be ok...Shes 6 now so I have tons of time to influence her tastes in music and clothing styles Im down with her liking country ,punk , oldies , do wap , but Id love if she was into goth , industrial , 80's and , 50's ,
