This is my third pregnancy and will be my third planned C-section. With my first pregnancy my son was transverse (side to side) and never dropped. I had a sceduled C-section and once they got in there in the doctor inspected my uterus and it is mis-shapen and they said c-sections were inevitable, so my last pregnancy was a planned C-section. I've never gone into labor, and honestly I feel so relaxed having it scheduled. My husband and I go out to dinner the night before and go walk around a book store for a bit. My sister in law had 2 vaginal births and then a Csection and said she wouldn't wish a C on her worst enemy, lol.
So does anyone else know way ahead of time they are having a C-section?
I am having a planned c-section on the 11th of Feb. This is my 6th baby and my 5th c-section. At this point it is very dangerous for me to go into labor. I too feel more relaxed knowing it is scheduled. We like to go out to dinner and then watch a movie at home or finish what else needs done in babys room....
I'm having my 2nd c section on the 8th of March...My son was breech almost 3 yrs ago and my daughter is also breech...I also had preeclampsia w/ my son and I jus developed it with my daughter...I like that its scheduled having another baby at home :-) We know how much time we have and can plan for someone to be with my son....A lot of ppl don't like c sections but my recovery was not bad and I don't mind doing another...
