hello! I just moved to Fremont from the desert (29 Palms, my husband is a former Marine and was stationed there - just got out 9 months ago) to live with family. Love it here so far!
I am a college student, happily off for the summer to spend time with my daughters; ages 6 and almost-3. Are there playgroups here, meetups? I would love to meet some new people, make some new friends, and of course, get my kids out to play! My oldest will be starting 2nd grade in the fall and I will be starting my last year of community college in the fall, too! (woohoo!)
Welcome! I used to live in Milpitas until recently. Fremont is okay but I hate driving through fremont bc there are those cameras on EVERY intersection it seems and my husband did get that wonderful redlight picture ticket in the mail on automall pkwy. Milpitas is also the same and they have cops just hiding to catch everywhere it seemed. But besides all that its a nice place to live.
I never did any play groups through cafemom but I will be joining MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers this fall. I'm sure they have a local MOPS in Fremont or at least San Jose.
