Well, we returned from our spring break trip on Saturday. We drove to Oklahoma to visit my family. It was awesome to see all my family I miss so much and they LOVED spending time with all my kids.
The bummer was that we all contracted a horrible stomach bug while there. I was the first to get it the day before we began our 17 hour car ride (stopping only for gas and potty breaks) back to AZ. The abdominal cramps and cold sweats kept me awake to drive my shifts. Fortunately (I guess) no one else got it till we got home.
But for the past 3-4 days it has been a non-stop poop and puke fest for all six of us. So, I am still trying to get caught up with everything, including laundry and unpacking, etc. Also have Parent/Teacher conferences and doctor appts this week. Deep breath.
We are kicking around a zoo trip, still. I wanted to organize it this week but don't want to further spread this demon bug. But I strongly encourage you all to get together, meet each other and keep forming those bonds.
I will post something soon regarding a get-together. It is great to get to know you all and I hope you are making some connections through this group.
