one I learned just this week was ROFL followed by LMAO.  Knew the last part but not the first.  Found out it's ROLLING ON FLOOR LAUGHING.  Just FYI

ok what about skids = stepkids
sd=step daughter
ss=step son
(and if they are followed by a number that is their age like if you have two stepsons 5 and 7 it would be ss5 and ss7)
bm=bio mom

Thanks for the list...I was too embarrassed to ask, but in my world BM means dealing with a baby's diaper habits.  Takes on a totally different meaning when you're reading a post and that's what you're thinking!  Lol!

LOL!! Thnx so much for that! I've been wondering, but I didn't want to ask, cause I'd feel stupid, LOL!! So now I know what some of the abbr. mean, it really helps. Except that I don't think I would call my bio mom my BM, I'd call her my NM Natural Mom, and my adopted mom would be AM. I think that BM sounds too much like a BM if ya catch my drift, LOL!!!
