It really makes you wonder what all those gifts that I have bought in the past, are they being re-gifted, are they stuffed way back in the closet or did it get it sold at yard sale.  It is true that gifts made by a loved one is treasured.  I was cleaning out my closet and found a Christmas card made by my son saying that the gift he made me was the heart.  It sits on the window sill, a handmade pottery clock tower painted in my favorite avacodo  green.

Thanks for sharing Scotty.  I have felt this way about Christmas for a very long time.   Now if I could just get my family on board... :)

YES, AMEN- we have been pushing for less stuff and more time with our families and it is catching on!   Since my girls were little we have given to others at Christmas thru the giving tree at our church.   I try hard to hear what my girls want under the tree and give them something- and then with them give to others, like the salvation army kettle- bell ringers.  Thanks for sharing!
