I started Keppra in July after a nasty bout of simple partial szs and have not had ANY since!!!!!!!!!! Complete sz control for the first time EVER--43 years!!!!!! :)
There have been some problems with it, most notably my thyroid went psycho and had to be brought back down. I'm off thyroid med now. I have also have serious sleep problems that are finally getting better with 5-HTP, and going through perimeno big time now, so we'll see what that does to my brain, but so far, so good!
So...how 'bout you?

Glad to hear it!! I've been doin okay..been on a few different meds but the one I am on now if Gabapenten (probably spelled it wrong) but I'm on 400 mg. every 8 hours. I've been on it at that dosage for about a month now and have had 1 so far. But other than that, everything has been okay. Can't find a doc that will see me becuase of my husbands insurance, through his job, everydoc that took it gave the excuse of "Can't see a patient with a pre-existing condition" which I think if so flippen rediculous! But anywho, I am applying for my SSI AGAIN. And pray it goes through this time, Lord knows I need it. Sad part is I'm only 27.
