I am sure this has been in a previous post but if anyone/everyone could tell me what kind of medications they are on and how many seizures they have a day/month/year or whatever it may be. I am going to my neuro next week and I am going to talk to him about other options besides my med I am on.
I am currently on Keppra 2000mg twice a day and 1/2 a tab Ativan at night. Plus folic acid. And I have seizures once to twice a month ONLY at night. My neuro considers this under control and I do not so just wanted to compare with others!
Thanks in advance!!!
I'm on Keppra 2 times per day
Only had 2 seizures. First one last year, and then a second one a few weeks ago (*after forgetting meds 2 dosages in a row).
What don't you like about the Keppra? I didn't love it at first, but now am doing better on it, I think.
Mom to 3 boys, hoping to adopt a daughter.
I am on Tegretol 400 mg morning and 400mg at night. My last seizure was 7 years ago.
I am taking carbatrol 300mg twice a day 2 in the morning and 2 at night I have been taking this med for 12 years. And lamectril migraine 200mg for about a year now 1 pill twice a day. I only have seizues around my period so maybe 6 times a month. I was taking Keppra for a while but it didn't stop the seizures and gave me severe depression and weight gain.
