PP and sex

Anyone here have Placenta Previa? What do you and your hubby do to stay intimate since you cannot have intercourse? I feel like I am going crazy.. I notice we try and cuddle more but making out gets us both so turned away that it just feels like torture!! Any tips? My Dr. evens aid No orgasm! How wrong is that!!!!!

I feel the same way!! Funny, cause I just asked my doctor today about orgasms and she said the same thing. Anything that causes your uterus to contract is forbidden... even having a full bladder can cause a contraction! EEEEKKK

My husband and I haven't done anything at all, other than back rubs and kissing. It's really not even comfortable to hug anymore because my belly is so huge that I can't get close enough anyway!! I am in my 34th week. I found out today that they will be performing my C section in just THREE WEEKS!! How far along are you? How long do you have to wait?? We have 3 weeks til delivery then six weeks postpartum. I'm sure that we'll be breaking the rules long before our nine weeks is up....

I am a recently diagnosed PP...well diagnosed at 15 weeks as partial and now at 18 weeks am complete. I know I still haev a chance of it movning but how do I deal with pelvic rest that long...i am going nut already...

Seriously ... pelvic rest is horrible!!! I know I hate it, and I know my husband hates it even more. I have been on pelvic rest since 22 weeks, I am now almost 31 weeks. NINE WEEKS OF TORTURE!! We also try to cuddle a lot more ... and, I'll leave out details, but I'm pretty nice to my husband. However, as selfish as this sounds, it just gets old always being the one giving & not getting! Ugh. Guess thats the story of being a woman ...

My next u/s is at 28 weeks or so...so by then it'll be ummm 13 weeks AHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm so glad you posted this. I'm having such a terrible time not being able to have intercourse with my husband. I try to do things for him so that he can be satisfied, but I wish there was some way we could still have "real" sex!!! It's very frustrating.

I tired to "help" my man out last night and he said it wasn't fair and he would deal....Such a sweety but garuntee he helped himself...LOL
