I just came to check on everyone there have not been any post lately! Well I gave birth to my daughter on March 18, 2009 she was almost 8 weeks early I was not due until may 1, 2009. I had complete previa and I started to bleed severely and had contractions every 2 minutes my daughter was born via an emergency c section. She stayed in the NICU for 21 days. She is now home and weighs 8lbs 1oz . Well just thought I would check on you ladies I hope you all are doing well. Take Care!

I'm so happy for you! It's nice to hear good news with previa.
I hate to rain on the parade but my situation didn't work out so well. I started bleeding at 13 weeks and was so relieved to hear I had a partial previa. Unfortunately, I unknowingly developed a bacterial infection which infected my son's umbilical cord. I went into labor and delivered him at 16 weeks. While they said the previa didn't cause the late-term miscarriage, the bleeding provided the perfect envirnonment for transfer of bacteria so the miscarriage was indirectly a result of the previa.
Is there anyone out there who has had this situation?
