Do any of you have experience (as spouse) with what a corporate pilot job entails? My husband keeps laying out his "options" for the future and he keeps brining up the corporate arena. I have a couple of fears about him going corporate(no real schedule, always on-call, no real benefits), but I was wondering if anybody had any real experience.
We had always heard that if you go corporate, it's difficult to get back into commercial. But we could be wrong.
Maybe there are great things like: you get to take the spouse and family on trips, or the paychecks are better. I'm looking for a reason to get onboard with that kind of decision.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The only thing I've heard are that the hours might be better.
Although we're about to go on extended mil leave, so I'm going to get a break from the Reserve life for awhile....
Of course, that means I have to move to Little Rock for 5 months.
ugh.
