Elizabeth and/vs? Joy

I'm surprise this has not been brought up lately but what's up with the tension between Elizabeth and Joy?  Elizabeth, from my perspective, has been on edge and challenging Joy in saying "you can't tell me what to think", or "you can't stop what I want to say" or "what is this a socialist table and I can't [speak/say] my mind anymore?"  And then Joy is doing her frustrated disgusted look as she stops while Elizabeth continues to raise her voice to over shadow what Joy is saying.  But in her defense, Joy did cut in on her several times while Elizabeth is making her point.  Just seems lately that the two of them are not so kosher.   Elizabeth seems to tone it down a bit when Whoopi adds her remarks and Sherri just wants to make nice, but it seems her and Joy are going at it when the topic gets hot.  Have you noticed?

I usually see that when something policial is being brought up and Elisabeth changes the subject,  If the subject gets back to George Bush they are not civil to each other at all.

I am just tired of hearing Joy complain...Geez! We know she doesnt like George Bush and he isnt President anymore does she have to keep making such negative remarks..she could tone it down a bit

Now, see I actually enjoy Joy's comments and find it very amusing.  I hope she does not stop taking jabs at him because his administration's handiwork is still taking jabs at all of us in more ways than one.  His menancing administrations will continue to effect all of us for more years to come.  Just because he is out of office (thank goodness) doesn't mean we stop holding him accountable for all the wrongs that he has done to this country.  So big kudos to Joy for not letting up on this gas pedal.

i had noticed they were "toning it down" last week or so.. im glad.. i mean, i enjoy a little banter now and then.. but EVER day ? it was getting crazy..

im not a fan of E's.. but Joy does go over board sometimes..

Elizabeth needs to lay off the Bush koolaid and call it for what it is.  She just will not admit that the last eight years have been dreadful for all Americans.  I'm getting sick and tired of hearing her defend Bush, his policies, and anyone who happens to be Republican, even when she knows what they are doing or saying is absolutely wrong.  I can't stand watching her on the show any more.  She grates on my nerves!

I think it's always been like this. The 2 seem to disagree on everything.....but I like it because I love Joy but hate Elisabeth, so I'm glad I tend to agree with Joy more.

Well, I definately don't "hate" either one of them. Lately Elisabeth has seemed to be more outspoken, her voice rising up even though Joy will shrilly disclaim anything un-Democrat. I like hearing their banter once in a while, it's what made me tune into the show in the first place. I love that they don't always agree. But lately it has seemed everyone against Elisabeth. She may not always openly admit that some things she believes/believed in were wrong but there has to be something said about her faith in her beliefs. Why is it that Joy can shout on about how great the Democrats are and how they are out to change the world but Elisabeth can't rally enough support on how not ALL Republicans are horrible? It's ridiculous. Joy needs to tone it down and then maybe Elisabeth wont need to go out of her way to be heard!
