I am growing potatoes for the first time, and bought some organic heirloom Yellow Finn potatoes. I planted 3 of them in a 5 gallon pail.

Have you grown potatoes in a pail? I also planted two in my garden.welcome spring.gif

I haven't tried. But most anything can be grown in a bucket or pot.

We have some rouge potatoes comin' up in the garden. I throw out all fresh food that's not good to the chickens...guess they don't like 'taters:O)

I would say just make sure the pot is big. They need room to grow and a softer/deep soil to grow big.

I miss gleanin' potatoes from the farms in Idaho...
