Contest Explanations

I will list and try to explain each contest we have, if you are still confused or have a question, feel free to ask.

Daily Mini Contest

Everyday there will be a mini contest which will be dated for that day. There will be a Boys and a Girls. You can enter one picture for as many children you have. No professionals in this contest, edits are ok. The contest will be open for 24 hours. The next day there will be a poll for that mini contest, that will stay up for 24 hours, the winner of that mini contest will go into a separate post titled this weeks mini contest winners again there will be a boys and a girls post. Once we get 7 mini winners,(there should be one for every day of that week, unless participation is low), there will be a poll to vote for the winners of each day. Once I get a winner both girl and boy, they will then become our Big Mini Winners, the prize for our big mini winners will be to chose one theme for our next contest, and of course bragging rights, lol

Themed Contest

Once each big mini winner chooses a theme (one each), there will then be a poll, which all members will vote which theme they want to be the next contest. Once a contest is chosen by votes, there will be four categories put up for that contest, the categories are based on ages,  0-11 mos, 1-2 yrs, 3-6 yrs, and 7 & up, there will be a boy and girl post for each age category. You may only enter your child in ONE of the categories, depending on how old they were in THAT picture. So for example, if your child is currently 3 years old, and you want to enter a picture that was taken when he/she was 9 months, the appropriate post to enter him/her in  would be in the 0-11 mos post. If you have more than one child, you may enter each child in their appropriate post based on their age in the picture. No professionals.

Themed contest will stay up for up to 5 days, then there will be a vote for each age/gender  category that will stay up for a few days, and then each age/gender category will have a winner and runner up. Then I will take all the winners from each age/gender category, and put them  all together (boys and girl) into a voting poll, this will be the, Best of The Best and that winner will go into the Hall of Fame and will also receive a reward.

Mamas Themed Contest

This contest is for us mamas, whoever wins the last mamas contest, will then chose a theme for the next contest, and will go into our Mamas Hall Of Fame, and will receive a reward. No professionals for this contest either unless thats the theme, edits are ok

3 Things Contest

In this contest there will be 3 things that you need to look for in your picture, you must have 2 of the 3 things to enter.  No professionals. This contest will stay up until I feel I have enough entries, then there will be a vote, the winner will then get to choose the next 3 things, which one always has to be a color.

Monthly Child Contest

This contest will be held once a month. It will usually start around the middle of the month. You can enter ANY picture you want to for this contest, there will then be a vote and the winner will be the groups avatar for the following month.

 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, ladies try to enter in as many contests as you can, and as often as you can, be active, the group will be more fun when we are all participating. Also invite your friends to join the fun!
