Need a donation?

There are so many worthy causes that just need passionate people to donate money.  If you know someone or have a cause that is important to you, please post it here.

Because people are already donating to the causes of their choice, please do not pm or spam people unless they express interest.

You must know that people do not usually donate because of scams and money is just plain hard to come by.  My dh and I already donate to several charities that we are passionate about, so I will not personally be giving away any more money.

Good luck with your passion to raise money for your cause.  I wish you the best of luck and success with raising lots and lots of money.

By the way, PLEASE NO SCAMS!!!!

Is your dh older than you, then join this group!

Thank you for helping me reach my Walk to Defeat ALSĀ® fundraising goal! This is an exciting opportunity for us to work together to support those affected by Lou Gehrig's Disease and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.

Please consider walking with me or sponsoring me. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease. I encourage you get your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers involved!

Why We Need Your Help

Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.

Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.

This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease though support is bringing researchers closer to an answer. In the mean time it costs an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join a walk today.

I'm an avid runner and have decided that this year, for my 30th birthday I'm going to do a race with a BIGGER purpose than just running to celebrate my birthday!

I've joined Team in Training to run the Tinkerbell Half Marathon in Disneyland, and I've pledged to raise $3,800 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Let's face it, probably ALL of us have been faced with, or know someone who has been faced with cancer.  Donations go to help find cures and better treatments for blood cancers, but a cure for ANY cancer will be a huge step for all of us!

I would love your support either in the form of a donation (click here) , Or if you could spread the word of the blog I keep doccumenting my running and fundraising efforts!

Hello everyone,

Now that school is goint to be back in, I am trying to work with local schools with fundraisers. Fundraisers are very important for a school, it helps keep things like art and music going...

However It is pretty difficult to come up with the prizes. I am not sure where to even begin. I want to be able to offer a few nice things for the kids that participate.  Please if anyone has any ideas??? Or if you can help.  Please send me a message.

Thanks, Heather.

Hi my name is Amanda...

I am in search of some help. I found a woman that lived on the other side of the USA from me. She is single and has 3 kids. She is about to lose everything (which is not much) and she is in dire need of things to help her and her children. Her 3 children are in their teens and one of them is disabled. She is in search of Clothes, Personal items (stuff for school, toilet paper, shampoo, things that teenagers like), Food, ANYTHING! She lives in NJ and she cannot afford anything. I am willing to pay for shipping on anything you got that she could use. There are 2 girls and one boy. The boy wears 12/14 and the girls are  small juniors. She mentioned that she has an Acme, Cumberland and a WAWA Store? by here. I live in Oregon so I have no clue about those stores but if you live on the East coast and know of those places, gift cards would be greatly appreciated. If you want to help and dont have a clue as to what these stores are (like me lol), a walmart pre paid credit card would work. I know that those cards she can use anywhere. The ages of the girls are 14 and 17 and the boy is 13. Anything would help... and for those of you that cant, a prayer would be just as helpful. Thanks for reading and if you have ANY questions or whatever, just let me know. If you would like her address, I can contact her and let her know if that is ok. Otherwise, just let me know any resources or help lines or anything you may know of so I can help her.

Thanks, Amanda

It's More than a WAH opportunity, its a chance to LIVE and LOVE... And still be a Mommy!
