I am doing a half marathon and to qualify I need to raise at least $500. I have $20 so far, and thought I would have a much larger support base.
Sooo now I need to think outside of the box and get some ideas on how I can raise the money through the public. I was thinking bake sale, and ask people to donate baked goods etc....but that's about as creative as my mind goes.
Any ideas anyone?

Hi. Check out "Cards for a Cause" at http://www.cardsforacausefundraisers/a1178 . This is a great fundraiser, selling only 2 products, and earning $13 for each box sold! I have had preschools, relay for life teams, church groups, animal shelters, cheerleading squads, baseball teams, scout groups, etc. etc. all saying how super easy and profitable this has been!
I would love to help you reach your goal. EVERYONE loves greeting cards (2 boxes to choose from) but no one wants to pay card store prices! These cards are adorable, quality, embellished cards for $1 a piece! $30 dollars for $30 cards! Makes a great gift for a parent/grandparent, too!

One other fundraiser I do, that might help you out, is I have another business called SWEETHEART ROSE BUDS I make Baby Sock Roses, rose buds out of baby sock. You sell them as single rose buds and as many as you want too. Remember: Mother's Day, Easter, Birthdays, Grandparent's Day, Get Well , Just Because, etc. they make a great gift.
