This letter is from my friend who has a sister with MS. I really want to help her with her Avon fundraiser. IF you need anything please purchase from her site. If you can, please forward this e-mail to your family and friends. Twitter or Facebook her link as well. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What is Multiple Sclerosis?
Multiple Sclerosis is a disease that affects the central nervous system, causing a variety of symptoms including vision problems,  muscular degeneration, speech difficulties, severe fatigue, cognitive impairment, loss of bladder control, and excruciating pain.

Every year 10,000 people are diagnosed with this insidious disease.  Though there are many  on going clinical trials, and a great amount of research on MS, at this time there is no known cure.

My sister  Cate worked as respiratory therapist for  over twenty five years receiving her bachelor's degree from Wayne State University.  She was diagnosed with MS in 1995 and continued her career until 2006.  At that time Cate, applied for, and was accepted , on Social Security Disability Income.

Cate is one of the bravest people I've ever known.  She faces each day with her disabilities and limitations and rarely complains about her plight.  I've watched as this  horrific disease robbed  her of the joy of doing her favorite things: gardening, walking her dog, driving and living independently.

For the past  couple of years Cate has been virtually trapped in her home.  The porch is too high and the stairs too steep for her to come and go.  Due to increasing crime in her neighborhood she is afraid to place a ramp outside her home.   She feels this will be an invitation for criminals (there have been three home invasions just a couple of streets  away).   She agrees it's time to move to home that is more handicap friendly and in a safer neighborhood.

During the months of October, November and December, I am donating my Avon commissions toward moving expenses for Cate.

Avon has over 2,000 high quality, affordable, everyday products--and holiday products-- all guaranteed,  for every family member!

To place an order please go to:  http://www.youravon.com/estanton

Choose direct delivery and products will be sent to your home!

All  commissions above moving costs, will be donated to the MS Society to find a cure for this devastating disease.

God Bless You

Ellen Stanton
