So here in CO they just annouced Broncos fired Shanahan as head coach and he was dismissed as football director of operations. They are supposed to have a press conference later and they will have it live on the local stations.
I don't know if this is good or bad?!?!
Know matter what lets just hope for some great things to come next season.
So the press conference will be tomorrow 12/31 at 11:00 am MST. Both Pat Bowlen and Mike Shanahan will be there to talk about everything.
HUH??? OMG!! I'm watchin' it on local right now....in tears I might add! Sonofab*&^$!!! Wow.....I kinda knew some heads were gonna roll this season! Who out there is good for the team right now?? UGH....the end of a great era....he will be missed!!
Bolin is a boob....word is that Shanahan wouldn't fire the D coor. and they said ..fine then your out. A young team and a new coach is not a good combo....we will see you the true fans are now cause it could be a bumpy ride...I'll be interested to see the press conference

What makes this so crazy with Shanahan being the 4th, Browns, Jets & Lionsall gave coaches the axe, many teams are going to be on the hunt for a new coach. I heard there is still other potential firings. I just hope we get on the ball and find someone good before everyone else makes them better offers. I heard someone suggest Kubiak, hmm that could be interesting.

I've been hearing/reading the Kubiak thing too! Wtf?? If your gonna fire a perfectly great coach...why bring in more of the same?? Bringin in Kubiak is the same as having Shanahan! I'm so disgusted with Bowlen!!!

I completely agree that Kubiak isn't the answer however there are many good coachs out there and to be honest we did the right thing. Really this has been a long time coming. The Bronco Family tends to really get attached to their head coaches if you look at the track record Shanahan had one of the longest runs with a team. So it really took alot to let him go. But we really need to start building a well round team and start winning seasons. Trust me the Bowlens only want the best for their team and to make their fans happy.

Well they are getting mixed feelings for sure! Some are happy and saw it coming but most are shocked and not so thrilled. I personally don't think Shanahan was the one that needed to go. You know? But maybe it is for the better, we will just have to see. We may have done bad in the enitre network, but we were the best in our division up until a few weeks ago. What bothers me is Mike lost both his jobs, why couldn't it be one or the other?
