HI ladies!!
My son is turning 2 in December, and I'm struggling with a theme and a place. Obviously since its in the winter it's hard to depend on an outside venue, but I'm not really into Chuck E Cheese or any of those places, at least not until he wants to starts going there....can anyone give me an idea on where else I could go, or an easier way of having it in my home without everyone being smashed in my living room? My thought was to plan it at the park and if it rained to just move it to the house. The poeple I'm inviting are close family and friends, so that wouldn't be hard for me to do, but is that tacky??
Also, my son is a busy boy and hasn't found any characters to be stuck on yet, he doesn't even watch t.v. (trust me, I've begged from time to time lol), but he is in love with motorcycles and our quads..addicted!! So I thought I would try to do some sort of a theme incorporating that but everywhere I look it's either hot wheels or construction/firetreucks...any decorating ideas or things for the kids to do incorporating that theme??
Thanks for any ideas you can give me!!

Have you checked out birthdaypartyideas.com? They have a lot of great party ideas. I just got the new Oriental Trading party catalog and they have a motorcycle themed party pack that includes decorations and tableware. You can get a banner and themed treat bags as well. As far as planning it for the park and moving it to your house if the weather is bad, that sounds like a great backup plan. Have a great party.
