How do you decorate for the holidays?

Hi everyone,

We gave 5 moms $50 Sears gift cards and asked them to go shopping at Sears for seasonal holiday decorations like lights, Christmas trees, and indoor décor.  They'll be sharing their experiences and what they bought at Sears for their homes here!

How do you decorate for the holidays?  Real or artificial tree? White or colored lights?

Fake tree, tinsel garland, multi colored twinkle lights, tons of decorations all over the house. I'm probabaly considered a 'tacky decorator', but I love it...it reminds me of my childhood because it's the same way my parents decorated their house :)

We use a fake tree, 9ft, ours is decorated red & gold this year. We have white lights on it. We have a nice wreath to put up tomorrow night on our front door and we also have a super cute snow man door mat :)

Lucky Mommas!  I love decorating for the holdiay :)  We get a real tree, pretty traditional decorating, pine garland, snowmen....love it!

I go with colored lights, hubby puts them out, fake tree (thanks allergies) a christmas village n nativity. Bows over the door n even empty wraped boxes to make under the tree look full
