I found this cute Super Hero Dessert table on this blog, and love the ideas :)  http://pinterest.com/pin/180284791303275552/

There are so many more cute ideas for a Super Hero Party, one picture I pinned on Pinterest was make your own telephone booth, the cutest, and nerdy glasses with a blazer and underneath the blazer a Superman shirt, how cute is that???

SUPERHERO PARTY OBSTACLE COURSE - Tell the kids they have to go through the obstacle course in order to catch the Joker, Riddler, or any other villain you want to mention. Obstacle ideas for creating your course:

Tunnel - Use a play tunnel or a series of play tunnels that are fastened together. Create a tunnel by using a large refrigerator box or a series of boxes taped together with duct tape. Place a sheet over a table and hang streamers off the ends of the tablecloth to the floor.

Tight-Rope - Lay a strip of duct tape, masking tape, board, or draw a chalk line for the kids to have to walk toe-to-heel to get across.

Hula Hoop Alley - Lay a few hula hoops on the ground and have the kids jump in and out of the hoops.

Ladder Run - Lay a wood ladder on the ground and have the kids have to step through its rungs.

Table Crawl - Place a tarp on the ground. Then place a table on top of the tarp. Cover a table completely with blown up balloons that have been tied together with string or yarn. Wrap the legs with foam padding. Encase the entire tabletop and sides with balloons. Secure them to one another using additional yarn, string, and tape. Fill the inside with balloons. The kids will have to crawl through the sea of balloons to the other side. As a guide, a 3' by 6' table will require about 100 balloons.

PVC Pipe - Insert pieces of PVC pipe into buckets of sand and create an area for the kids to weave in and out of the poles by lining them up on the ground in a zig-zag fashion.

Leaping Tall Buildings - Paint various sized food boxes gray and tan to create your buildings. If you're feeling creative, paint on some windows and doors. Set them up for kids to "leap" over.

Squeeze Through - Get two pieces of plywood and glue a thick piece of foam on each piece of plywood. Create a stand for each piece of plywood and place them close together, which will require the kids to squeeze through sideways.

  • Bake a thin sheet cake or brownie tray and cut out bats and spiders.
  • Trace around the cookie cutters on a piece of clean cardboard and use the cardboard templates and a knife to cut the shapes out of a pizza crust shell. Then let the kids create their own mini superhero pizzas.
