So DD's first birthday is in August! I know my theme but I need some ideas. I really want to do like a block cake but I'm not sure how to make it work. What about games and such? The kids range from 9 and down.

here is my theme

and here is one of her outfits

I still need one more outfit :) Thanks ladies!!

Sorry but I HATE fondant. I think it taste's nasty. If there is any way possible I don't want to use it and if there isn't I'll have to change the cake lol I know a lot of people use it but I just don't prefer it. Thank you though!!

I was going to suggest the marshallow fondant too!   That's much tastier than the regular stuff!

I think the marshmallow one would be your best bet.

I use modeling chocolate. I've made both kinds of fondant, but modeling chocolate is better, and easier to work with in my experience. You could always do square cupcakes, or cake pops that would be cool too. Like pink, black, and white square mini square cakes put together to make the shape of a number one.
