Hello all you mothers out there. My daughter is about to turn one. Any ideas for part ideas, saving, where to get a cake? Also Im in N, Eastern NC. I need some mommy friends!

1st bday princess, cupcake theme, lady bug, teddy bear, dolls ( the cute baby kind), or a One is fun with the #1 being the focus.

I am unfamiliar with your area since I am in Michigan

I always had a lot of fun making the cakes myself but you can google or look in your yellow pages for cake makers too. Even places like walmart, baskin robbins, dairy queen, grocery stores etc have cake decorators that will customize it the way you ask them to. Good luck and keep us updated.
