9/16 Questions for National Wife Appreciation Day
Today 9/16 is National Wife Appreciation Day.
Do you feel appreciated?
What kinds of things throughout the year does your husband do or say to show he appreciates you?

I do feel appreciated.
He is very expressive and affectionate with me every day. He thanks me for things all the time, even routine everyday types of things like making his dinner or bringing him something so he doesnt have to get up.
He gives me lots of compliments and brags about me to other people (tee hee aww)
He really really listens to me and shows he cares and thinks what I say and feel is important.
He makes spending time with me a priority and makes time to do so even if he is really busy. He takes me on dates at least once to twice a week which I love too and did that even when the 5 kids were growing up
He always wants to help me out around the house even though I dont want him to bc my job is honestly easy now with the kids grown and he works fulltime outside the house, but if I dont feel good or something he will not say anything if he sees something undone like clothes in the dryer for example, he'll just quietly grab them up and fold and put away without saying a word.

Omgosh! I was conversing with my husband and told him how today is National Stepfamily Day and also Wife Appreciation Day and how we were talking about it on cafemom and I told them how lucky I am that he shows me appreciation everyday and that we've never FELT LIKE a stepfamily and he agreed.
He said "Happy appreciation day wife, I appreciate you." I laughed and said I know you do baby.
THEN he had to run to the store for a few items and he came back with a bottle of red wine and he said "Here this is to celebrate Wife Appreciation Day!" awwwwww lol he's so sweet and funny I was NOT expecting a gift or anything but that is so sweet.
