Hmmmm ....first of all the decision is entirely yours and your husbands of course - for me I would have hosted a small thanksgiving with immediate family only to celebrate her birth and current life and health and when she is stronger and more fully developed I would do a bigger party for her.... my reasoning is I tracked my daughter's developmental stages closely from 1 day to 36 months and I am truly amazed in the difference a week or a month makes in their development at that age, so I think the party will be worth the wait if you want her to be more responsive and enjoy it....again JMO.......
At the end of the day it's you and your husbands choice that matters :)

My husband was irritated by the suggestion of waiting. Since we are going to Chuck E Cheese and only invited 15 kids, he feels like that is low key, and that we can do something big next year. He says her birthday is the day she was born and her due date was an estimated date that was probably gonna be wrong anyway so why celebrate then? He booked her party at Chuck E Cheese and said if they wanna celebrate in March, let them pay for it. Lol. So I'm going to go with what he says. He's made up his mind, And once it's made up it doesn't change. Lol

Lol, I agree with your husband girl. Her bday is the day she is born. Have fun at chuck and party hard.
