Hi ladies -
I am getting ready to have my twin boys birthday party next weekend. They will be turning 3. We are having a Mickey Mouse themed party. We will have about 5 kids here (under the age of 5) and two older kids (11 & 14) because their parents are close friends of ours. I just have two questions....I have the goody bags all planned out - I'm using ideas from playhouse disney.com as to what to put in the goody bags...but my question is what do I do for the two older kids (the 11 and 14 year old). The stuff I'm putting in the bags for the little kids will not be of interest to them. Should I still give the two older kids something for coming and if so, what?
Second question - we will probably do a pinata and do pin the tail on Mickey mouse or something similar. I'm looking for another "game" idea......I'm not sure if my boys would understand hot potato or duck, duck goose or anything like that. Playhouse disney suggested making "fake" bones and have the kids crawl around on their hands and knees and look for the bones and when they find one they are suppose to bark. I don't think my kids would get into that. So...I'm looking for another idea for a game to play. This is the first birthday where we are inviting other little kids so I'm a little stressed. Also, if we play pin the tail on mikey do we give out prizes to whoever "wins". Or not because we are doing goody bags AND a pinata? I'm TR YING to stay stress free!!!! Any suggestions would be great!
