Can you please tell me how much you pay for speech therapy, what part of the country you live in and if your insurance helps you? My husband is worried we can't afford it, while I don't see this as a choice at all.

He has a psychological evaluation next week because he's been showing signs of autism.

If they think ds has autism it would be a good idea to see if you can get your child evaluated by your states early intervention program.

He only needs an eval from the state if you want to get him services from early intervention. If your son does have autism he will need a lot of therapies. From my experience EI is a good place to start and then you can add private therapy on top of what they give you. In my opinion you can never have to much help :)
