i'm going to check out this one. we don't eat healthy enough, but we all love fruits and veggies, so i think we'd use it if it literally landed on our doorstep!

Living greener has many aspects. There is a lot of information on how to reduce your energy use at http://www.portlandgeneral.com/home/energy_savings/Default.asp?bhcp=1
I had the free energy home evaluation through Oregon's Energy Trust, which has a link on the page above, and discovered how much I could do to lower my energy consumption. You can also earn money through tax incentives and a pass it on reward, but I am in it to clear my conscience. The person who came out was nice enough to replace 6 of my light bulbs with high efficiency bulbs, add somesort of dodahs to 2 of my sinks and he offered me low flow shower heads, but it would have meant switching back to standing under a stationary water source...I just couldn't bear giving up my 4 feet of flexibility.
As I make myself more aware of the impact of my everyday choices (like that it takes 3 gallons of water and draws on oil for energy to create one liter of Aquafina) the better my choices can then reflect my beliefs.
I hope this forum takes off, because I need a lot of help distinguishing what products and companies are worthy of my support and that sort of thing.
