Autism Spectrum Alernative Treatments
I've dedicated this group to those new to this subject, who feel like victims, those who feel victorious and those still in a process of using alternative methods for the treatment of a loved one with any of the disorders falling in the Autism Spectrum. Comments from Professionals in this area also welcome. Here to provide support for each other & inform the unknowing & just for a pat on the back for giving that little extra to help make things right for the sake of wellness & sanity! Sense of humors are welcome here! This site for questions, sharing ideas, stories & discussion. (We DO NOT prescribe but offer good clean methods of treatment & advice to help you decide what's best for your child. We also recommend using your doctor when posible.) All changes in your child's treatment should be through your doctor. Quiting any prescirbed medication 'cold turkey' always has bad effects. We prescribe transitioning any child off medication gradually. Those not using/refusing meds...more power to you! We share what/how we know has worked for us. And try to answer questions for people needing advice/info. This group is for the whole spectrum from ADHD to AS to ASP to SID to OCD to ODD to the PDD's.....Welcome to you ALL.
