Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and modifications of this therapy can be very assitative in areas of sensory, anxiety, stimming & socializaiton problems-symptoms. Goals wanted to be reached or resolved can be broken down into 'baby' steps then taught to the person/child in a way to lessen the anxiety for them and 'teach' them how to act or react to situations they may have problems with. This therapy would be very effective for the Aspergers, however since all these kids have problems at some level in the emotional, social, & sensory areas of the brain that some form of this therapy could be of benefit to all. It seems to take this area of the brain longer to develope and grow and highly recommend a mineral compound to help. I used the Super Cell Protector. It's not a drug but essential minerals we don't always get in our diet. They are also good for depression, anxiety & mood swings.
