Well Monday my husband and I started dieting. We want a new fit look before our anniversary (September 29th). So far so good. We tried the slim-fast diet (drinking a shake for breakfast and lunch and a sensible dinner). Those shakes aren't too good. We have about 3 left each but after they are gone so is the slim-fast diet! LOL! We had baked talapia with sliced lemon on Monday and yesterday we had a small plate of chicken Alfredo pasta. Basically we are using www.sparkpeople.com to count calories. Today it's either a salad or baked Cajun chicken breast. I find myself craving my usual daily snacks but I have to stay motivated. If any of you have any baking recipes for meats (no pork) or any other healthy tips please share!

hello! i totally agree about the slim fast diet, tried it, hated it and was constantly hungry, but I was reading this article in healthy foods and obviously excersize is always gonna have to be a part of diets but there was a list in there called crave busters and just basically foods you can eat when your feeling really hungry or foods you can add to your meals so you get fool quicker!: Pomegranate (my fav), apples, oatmeal, flaxseeds, pinenuts, salads, grass drinks, guava, kiwi, and protien whey powder! what I did after I had my first child I would eat a piece of fruit in the morning wait about 15 min than I would jog or bik ride, for lunch half a can of tuna, or some more fruit, a light sandwich or something, and for dinner I would mostly try and make a soup or salad first so I get fool and I don't end up over eating dinner! and I never ate after 7, kitchen was closed! and I stoped drinking soda too, and that's what made my stomach noticably smaller, cause of all the gas I always looked pregnant! LOL! but once I gave that up I lost 3 pounds in the first week! so just a lil tip, but I'm sure you look great anyway!
