ok, so I don't have tv.  I totally have a box, that I use, to watch dvd's and vhs's. but not cable, no hook up, AT ALL, so I am bummin' about this post a wee bit.

BUT, But i have seen that channel... When my husband travels on business stateside for more than a week or so, the kids and I get to go with.  Way fun.  I don't care what my mama says (she just misses the grandbabies), I love living in a hotel... of coarse they are really lovely hotels. And YES, someone else is paying for the hotel... but I like it non the less.

That being said, you are probably wondering where this chickie is going with all this. That being said, I have seen the channel you spoke of, while staying in the hotels.  I like that channel.  It is nice.  I liked Rachel Ray fine, I like the home plate man with the bandana on his head, (I really like cajun, creole, southern foods,)  I also really liked this man from California... he's got good recipes, that actually work if you try them.  (some of bBAM BAM guy's don't turnout)

any whey (get the whey joke?)
any way,  I am glad to be a part of this group, I lOVE to cook !  (I went to culinary arts school for a spell, till I got married that is)  So I LOVE TO COOK

Sorry for rambling, I do that, a whole lot, I hope you just think it's charming and not annoying in anyway...one never knows how others will perceive one when one is new, do they?

be blessed

We just keep having more and more in common. I am trying to think of the guy I liked- he was on a food network contest show helping these kids do Barbeque. He was also on Rachel Rays talk show. Ohhh Bobby Flay! I was looking at what he was cooking and my mouth was watering.

Ok well I love so many food network chefs and shows.  I think my favorite is Paula Deen because I'm a country girl myself.  My husband and I went to her restaurant in Savannah it was sooo good!Tongue out

Hi.  I just joined.  I love to cook but I would like to get better at it and try new things.  I collect cookbooks.  We just started watching Food Network.  Before, I was really never a fan, but recently we've come to love it and that is about all we watch at night.
Our favorites are Good Eats with Alton Brown (my 3 year old loves that show).

I'm adding a new favorite.  Just started watching Tyler Florence.  We saw him in Food 911 tonight.  It was a great show and some things I'd really like to try.  It doesn't hurt he isn't bad to look at either.

Hey Cooking Mommies!

My name is Lisa, and I love to cook. My favorite show on food network would have to be Everyday Italian. Giada cooks awesome stuff.

Lisa.
