so the question is how supportive is your man.  does he coplain about all the steps, folding, pins/snappis, washing, etc  and how much does he ACTUALLY do.

my hubby is very supportive, he counts on me to tell him how, but he does try, tho he'll come up with excuses not to change diapers , but he did that while we still used disposable.

I think they just don't think about it in general ( or don't want to) whether it is cloth or plastic. Mine is the same way. He will go hours without changing my little one, I have to remind or ask him to all the time. He also seems to think you only need to change a diaper every 2-3 hours! He doesn't even bother to check for wetness.

My husband is pretty understanding. and he will change our son's diaper, but since we do not have a washer or dryer, I wash my son's diapers in the bathroom sink, and my husband draws the line at actually washing them lol.

dh is kinda weary of changing dd's dipe. he is afraid he'll wipe wrong.
with ds, i left one time to come home to find that he thought dd's night time fleece cover was a diaper and he had a bumkins cover over it. really cute, but at least he tried.
i keep the pockets stuffed and i have some aio's for dh to use so he doesn't get too confused.

My hubby is suprisingly really into them!  My sister used CD with all three of hers and when we found out we were expecting he would talk about it with everyone.  He was very defensive with his family when they thought that we were crazy, did his own research so he could argue with them! lol.

He changes diapers when he is home and even helps me keep up the diaper wash!  We had a few oops' in the begining with washing covers but he's an old pro now, just in time for monster no. 2

My Hubby is great! He can stuff the pockets now that dd is in mediums. In fact dd is less likely to be squirmy if dh changes her instead of me! My wash routine confuses him so I handle that- it really is so dependent on what sort of diapers I am washing- and I am so picky about the way they are washed!
