Developing an interest in books and listening to stories is one of the best activities that we can do to help prepare children of all ages to read and to grow academically. This group is designed to encourage parents to take an active roll in reading to and with their children. Children who are read to frequently, more often become good readers, grow up loving books, and have larger vocabulary skills.

We can discuss different books that we read to our children; share ideas that we may have involving different books; and anything else that we may think other parents may want to enjoy with their children.
