We used the natural-scientific method for having a girl... I tracked my ovulation, and we had sex a few days before I was scheduled to ovulate... we also made sure we were in a "girl position" just to make sure. LOL 9 months later a healthy, happy baby girl!

I'm very conflicted with this .
I tried shettles method and track my O just like you. I'm currently pregnant , i'm not finding out the sex until it's born. I'm hoping the method worked. My fellow church members started to laugh when i told them i tried to sway a certain gender. They said it's really up to God.
I guess if i get a third boy ,all i can say is, i tried.lol
CONGRATS! Did you eat a certain way? Check your PH? Take supplements like Calcium or anything else? How long did it take you to conceive? Also did you check how your cervical mucus looked like was it egg like or creamy like(sorry tmi)? Sorry a lot of questions but i have 5boys and want to get that girl this time!

Congrats! I'm also wondering if you checked your ph levels at all, just like the mom above me asked? I just bought some ph strips a couple weeks ago and I have some work to do lol. I need to lower myself 2 whole numbers. I'm at about 6-7 and need to be between 4-4.5. Looks like I'm gonna have to cut back on salt and possibly start supplements.
I feel that too many women/couples still end up having a boy with using Shettles. We will be using O+12 (12 hours after Ovulation) using an Ovwatch. I have heard that one or two Ovwatches have malfunctioned but they have ironed out a lot of the problems. A lot of women also ovulate at different times than they think and so the Ovwatch is actually doing its job. I am trying my best to keep track of what is happening in my cycle so I have a rough idea of what is happening, but with a 33 month old to keep an eye on it is more difficult for me to accurately track my cycle using BBT. I do try to observe my cf as well. This will probably be my last pregnancy as Hubby will be 41 next Birthday and I am turning 38 in a few days. I want my Baby Girl so,so,so much.

We really didn't do anything other than position & timing... didn't change my diet or take supplements... didn't check PH or cervical mucas -- my periods have always been regular so I just tracked my ovulation on a calendar based on the typical # of days ovulations occurs... I don't recommend this for everyone, as not everyone's biological clock is right on track.
It was around 3 days before, yes. We used missionary position... Shettles says a shallow position for a girl, and recommends missonary.
