Quoting Allebas:We had a PRECIOUS, BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL Jan. 29, 2008!!!!!!!!!! There is ALSO another product on the market that not too many people are aware of!! You can check it out at http://www.ovacue.com/ This product TOTALLY, TOTALLY HELPED us get our DD after 4 WONDERFUL BOYS!!!! We used the ovacue and were able to do the 'baby dance' TWO DAYS BEFORE ovulation!!! YEP!! YEP!! It worked for us!! THEN--when we were done with the ovacue, I sold it on ebay for ALMOST the SAME PRICE I paid for it to begin with!!!!
BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE TRYING FOR A GIRL!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
Aw this stinks! Ovacue is on back order until the end of April.
I have never had a normal 28 day cycle, and each time I conceived it was as if my cycle was especially crazy. I paid to have several months of Fertiltyfriend between November and March and was able to sort of see what was going on. I had been tracking my temps for over a year as soon as I got my First Postpartum cycle 26 months after BJ was born using a Fertility Thermometer, but even that was not enough to encourage those elusive Girly sperm! What's wrong with you gals (sperm), anyway? Are you so afraid or put off the idea of fertilizing the Egg, or just not interested, or too slow? (just trying to make it sound a bit lighter)...
We DTD on the night of Nov. 30, a week or more before I must have ovulated. I used Rephresh Gel before DTD, which was supposed to make the Reproductive Tract more acidic also.
I had just a smudge of blood, or less on Dec. 11 or 12 or thereabouts. I took several preg. tests- one on the day after FF said to test- result was Neg. I tried about a week later, and got another Neg. result, and finally tested another time on Dec. 24, with tears in my eyes, as I did not want to see another Neg. result but by that time I was a few days late for even a normal 28 day cycle, and finally got a Pos. result. Yay! - even if we have another Boy on the way it is better than trying 6 months later and still having a big posiblility of having Blue. As I said on another post, because DH & I are older (I will be 39 in a few days, and DH will be 42 in Oct). The Genetic Counsellor was not very positive about our situation because of our ages. I don't know how it is for older couples, but that is their lot to bear, and I have enough of my own to worry about.
I was on the Girl diet as much as I possibly could, for about 8 weeks or so and like a lot of the ladies were saying, I was feeling very poorly/sick from eating that way. I decided to take the plunge and just try one time and see what happens.
End result= Boy. Of course I love him and if I can just get over the initial shock, that will help a lot in getting through the remaining weeks of my pregnancy.

Hello everyone!
I just found out that I'm having another boy. I studied gender selection methods for 2 year and I tried Shettles methods along with the high calcium and magnesium diet. Also My husband and I were taking cranberries pills and we tried to lower the sperm count as well.
We started with a 5 days cutoff and then 4 days but I didn't get pregnant for 6 months so we tried to do 3 days cut off and I got pregnant. I was so sure I was going to have the baby girl of my dream. I did everything I could, and we followed all the rules very carefully. I read many books about gender selection and I was tracking ovulation for almost 2 years (cm charts , basal body temperature, ovulation prediction kits... Etc)
im still so surprised I failed and I still have that feeling that it may be a girl!! ( 20 week ultrasound said 100% boy)
After listening those 3 words from the technician : IT'S A BOY I had to go to the bathroom and I felt sick!
i have been crying since that day and I feel extremely guilty!
i know i will love my little guy with all my heart but its just that feeling that I may never have the girl of my dreams.
I just wanted to share how I feel and if you Are trying any natural gender selection method please keep in mind that anything can happen ...
I always knew the method I used wasn't 100% guaranteed but I put a lot faith on the whole thing and now it's been so hard to acceped that it was a waste of time and money and really kills you emotionally !
anyone in the same boat????
