Our Spencer has a rash in his front armpits and on his upper thigh.  It is alittle red and he is licking it.  Does anyone know what it could be or what I can put on it?  If it looks worse tomorrow I will take him to the vet but right now it looks just irritated.  Any advice is greatly appreciated.=)

You can give him Benydryl if it itches....My doxies weigh around 10-11 lbs, and we give them 2 cc..vet said you could give it every six hours as needed.

I have one that has lots of itchy skin.. and the vet recommended me try Head n Sholders for itchy scalp...be careful of the eyes.   They say it works.

Hope your baby feels better soon.

Thanks.  I called the vet and he said to actually give him bendryl to.  I gave it to him and he has stopped licking and is now sleepy.

Is he a short haired? Could it possibly be getting irrated by something he might of laid down in or moisture building up. Heck even a bite that he made worse? Hopefully the bendryl will knock whatever reaction he might be having. Can u apply topical rash creme on a dog?
