Hello my name is Heather Conner. I am tying to be more healthy and get fit the old fashin way. good old diet and exercise. I got yself a gym membership for my birthday. and i love it. I need some advice or tips from anyone who is willin to help me. I would greatly appreciate it!
What kind of advice are you looking for?
For exercise I'd skip the machines and use the free weights, if you're doing weights. Your body works much harder at free weights and you'll see some great results. For carido machines...resistance! Up the level on the machine for improved results and do some intervals (lvl up and down alternately) for more fat burn.
If you gym has a kettlebell class, sign up for it. They're fantastic!
As for food, just use good sense. Portion control and keeping things balanced. I use the food tracker at SparkPeople.com (it's a free forum for weightloss, if you check it out you could friend me~FlabSniper : )).
