Desperate to get in shape for better health after baby number one!

Hi Ladies,

I have had enough I never wanted to be who I am right now, still holding all my post preggy weight plus some! I want to get in shape, I want to feel and look good.

I would like to try for another baby in the next year or so but so desperately want to be fit and healthy.

I just can't seem to get it together I just eat!

I would love the support of some other mummies in the same boat or even mum's who have tried and succeed.

I too need to lose weight!!! For me walking really helped when the weather was nice not too hot out like it is here, i would take my DD out for a walk and just go as far as my legs would take me. I lost all my weight down to waht i was exactly before i got pregnant and soon after I got pregant with my DS. now i can't seem to lose that weight. i get lonely with hubby working and going to school so he is not home much and when he is he is sleeping. i currently weigh 160 lbs. ( 20 lbs more than before kids) i desperatly too want to lose it but have no energy or will power yet!!!

Hey, I know what you mean I am a first time mom as well and I  am trying to do the same but its really hard when you are trying to do it all by yourself... I am trying to work out but sometimes i just lag it. I was thinking about, joining a Zumba I heard that its alot of fun. So I might do that and try and slowly get into a better eating habit... Also I think that if you dont think about it as getting yourself in a "diet" might help... Just think, i wanna be healthier... (not so much about the weight that you wanna loose)that was you wont feel so much pressure and it might be easier to keep up with it. 

I currently weigh about 200... I wanna loose at least 30 pounds... so we'll see how it goes... What are you planning to do?

I need to lose weight also. I'm just not able to lose the weight right now do to injuring both of my feet and being confined to a wheelchair. Since I'm unable to do much exercising and cooking healthy I'm unable to lose the weight. I am making baby steps on getting my left foot working again so that I can have surgery on my right foot. Once I'm able to have use of both of my feet again I'll be able to concentrate on working on my weight management again. I was doing really good before I injured my feet.
