Sometimes it's just body image

Back in early grad school I did research on body image and how our expectations far exceed our perceived selves.  I never thought that I would be a victim, but I have been lately.

I was in the breakroom yesterday at lunch with two other girls and we started talking about weight. One of the girls that I consider very very slender is like 20 pounds heavier than me!!!!!  OMG!!!!  I absolutely couldn't believe it. I didn't share my weight because I didn't want to get the "whatever" eye-roll because I've been trying to get back down 4 pounds.

Sometimes.....we are perfect and we just can't accept it.

I have looked back on photos of myself and realized I looked good when I thought I was fat.  That is totally true, you need to feel good about yourself all the time no matter if you are fat, feel good, eat healthy, work out - just do it to feel good and you will feel so much better.
