Adam only had two games this weekend. One this morning and one last night. He played his heart out and didn't get one penalty in either game. He was proud of that lol. He scored 2 goals and got an assist. So this weekend went alot better than last weekend did. He asked his coach if he really went through two games without getting a penalty and his coach told him that he indeed did.
Congrats to Adam! That's what the higher ups want to see, hockey players, not boxers! LOL!
Thanks. His coach asked him last week if he wanted to take up boxing and Adam said nah he wants to play hockey. I like the fact that he can play with the bigger kids and fit right in. He got checked in his first game and in return he went and checked the guy that checked him and the guy left him alone the rest of the game.
Good job Adam! I think he will find that actually playing a whole game without penalties or being kicked out for fighting is a lot more fun.
He says he had more fun this weekend then he has had in awhile. He told me he kept his helmet and gloves on and that's what stopped him from fighting, he said he thought about it a few times but decided not to. We all know he's a tough kid, he doesn't have to prove it.
