Adam and Matt both made the same team for spring hockey

Adam is a little more advanced than Matt is but Matt has been working out and doing very intense practice drills with Adam. He has practiced with Adam for over a month now and is really starting to play like his big brother. They both got measured and weighed, Adam came in at 6'2" and 218 pounds and Matt came in at 5'8" and 152 pounds. Adam has told him not to eat but to workout to put on some more weight. He should be at 170 pounds according to the doctor.

Regarding Adam's height and weight, his junior coach is an ex-NHL player and called Adam a bulldozer because he uses his height and weight to his advantage and bulldozes other players. I remember when he started calling him that, Adam was out on the ice for a shift and leveled a player, the other player didn't get back up for a minute and then everyone started fighting, his coach says to him see what ya started you just bulldoze other players and he told Adam that he wants to see him do that more often.

Getting back to the boys playing spring hockey, Matt is very excited about making the team and can't wait to play. Adam on the other hand had playoff games last weekend and has them this weekend as well. He has pretty much been playing hockey since last June nonstop and said he would of taken a break from hockey but he wants to play on the same team as Matt and this is his chance to do that.

Right now as I type this Adam and Matt are both outside on Adam's now melted ice rink skating with rollerblades on practicing hockey drills together. One of Adam's friends came over and I heard him say to Adam: "Is this all you do is play hockey?" And I heard Adam say, "I'm a very religious person and do you want to know what my religion is?" His friend said to him, "Probably some hockey religion" and Adam said, "Damn straight." I just laughed.

Congrats to your 2 boys. Wow Adam sure is a big boy my oldest is 6'5" and weighs 245 pounds. My 21 yr old is 6'3" and about 220 pounds; my 16 yr old is 6'2" and 210 pounds and my youngest is 6'0" and about 190 pounds. All of my boys play hockey and I think it's great that your boys are playing together on the same team, maybe they'll get to be on the same line together as well. Good luck to Adam and Matt.

Thank you. Oh wow you have some big boys too. People have told me that Adam looks like he was just born to play hockey, his teammates love having him on their team. Tonight they had a hockey game made up of a bunch of kids from around the neighborhood and they had to pick players for each team, Adam was picked first, Matt was on the same team as Adam but got picked 4th or 5th. They were having a blast today, there were 14 boys and no girls LOL, they were all teenaged boys too.

During that game Adam fired a shot that ripped right through the back of the net and landed about 50 feet away. Later on after the hockey game about 5 or 6 of his friends were still over and they started playing baseball. So hockey and baseball is all I've dealt with today.

That's great they made the same team! I'll be they have a lot of fun playing together, and how perfect for you that you only have to deal with one schedule!

I love that they are on the same team and that is one of the main reasons why I love it so much I only have to deal with one schedule. Matt is excited, Adam is too but not as much as Matt.
