Finally back home after a long hockey weekend this weekend. Danny had three games and Collin had two and I ended up going to all five games. Danny's game Friday night was in Flint and the rink is only 20 minutes from home. They won Friday night 8-2 and Danny played hard the whole game, he played defense, their team was short handed so he had to play 8-10 minute shifts each, he scored a goal too. Then on Saturday Danny's game was at 9:30 in the morning in Waterford which was right on the way to Collin's game at 3:45 in Troy.. Danny's team lost on Saturday 5-4, he wasn't involved in the scoring and they had the whole team back so he was playing normal shifts again. Then we went out to eat and went to Collin's game, he started in goal and they lost the game 1-0; he played great though, the goal he allowed as a one timer and he was out of postion, he was mad at himself and didn't have a lot to say after the game. We drove back home after Collin's game and then went to Danny's game on Sunday, his game was at 10:30 in the morning in Flint and he played center because none of the center's were at the game and he played 8-10 minute shifts again, they only have 8 players and he was taking turns with winger and they were the only two center's. Collin's game was at 5:45 in Port Huron, we came home for a bit before leaving for Port Huron, Collin started again and they won 7-2, he was a lot happier after this game. We went out to eat before going home. Both boys are now off until Saturday, Collin has his last two games and Danny still has some more games before Christmas.

I've done that a few times before but it's always hard if they are playing so far apart. I don't play, I'm just a mom with hockey players LOL. We live in Clio, just north of Flint.
