Looking into junior options for Collin

Collin is going to be 15 years old in June and we have started to look for the right team and league for him. He is a goalie and really loves being in net. We've had about 5 different teams approach him over the last year to come play for them, I think he wants to stay close to home but if he doesn't that's fine too because my 22 yr old went to Albany, NY when he was in junior hockey. He really wants to move up to the next level, he's been in bantam for a few years now and is really advanced now for bantam, he says he can't wait to play junior hockey. We've also been thinking of letting him be on the same team as Danny (my 17 yr old son) who is one of the Alternate captains and could help Collin out a lot. But the only problem is they have goalies now. Oh well we'll see what happens.

We tried Matt out for a bunch of teams when he started juniors. He got to interact with the coach and some of the kids already on the teams and then we let him decide which one to join. It was funny because he didn't pick the team with the most winning record, or in the best league. he picked the one where he had the most fun with the coach and team mates. They lost a lot of games, but he had so much fun playing and had lots of camraderie with the kids on the team.

That is what we did with Alan and Danny, Alan went all the way to New York for Juniors and is now a senior in college, he goes to school in Buffalo, he loves it there. Danny wanted to play on a team that would give him the most playing time. Collin said that he wants to just play hockey and he doesn't care what kind of team he's on LOL.
